BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Abiel Osorio converted a stoppage-time penalty as Defensa y Justicia secured a 1-0 home win over Deportivo Riestra in Argentina's Primera Division on Monday.

Osorio converted a 93rd-minute penalty after substitute Milton Celiz handled the ball in the area while attempting to block Agustin Hausch's cross from the right byline.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men in the 98th minute when Osorio was shown a second yellow card for simulation.

But Defensa y Justicia survived to climb to fourth place in the 15-team group A standings. Deportivo Riestra is sixth in Group B with six points.

Barracas Central leads Group A with nine points from four outings while River Plate heads Group B with eight points so far. ■
